Make the app look the way you want — dark, light, or somewhere in between.

Choose system, dark, or light mode. Pick from four accent colour themes: Vibrant, High Contrast, Teal, and Lilac. Your choice syncs across all your devices.

## How it works

1. **Open Appearance settings** — Tap your profile or head to Settings. The Appearance section is right at the top — no digging required.
2. **Choose your mode** — Pick Light, Dark, or System. System follows your device setting automatically, so Edge always matches the rest of your phone.
3. **Pick an accent theme** — Choose from four colour palettes — Vibrant, High Contrast, Teal, or Lilac. Each one tints buttons, badges, and highlights throughout the app.
4. **Synced across devices** — Your appearance preferences sync via your account. Set it once on your iPhone and it applies on your iPad, Mac, and the web — everywhere you use Edge.

## What you can do

- **Dark mode** — A true dark theme built on deep blacks and muted surfaces. Easier on your eyes at night and saves battery on OLED screens.
- **Light mode** — A clean, bright interface for daytime use. High contrast text on white surfaces for maximum readability.
- **System-aware** — Set it to System and Edge follows your device's light/dark schedule. Switch modes automatically at sunset and sunrise.
- **Four accent themes** — Vibrant (teal + coral + amber), High Contrast, Teal, and Lilac. Each theme tints interactive elements, badges, and highlights.
- **Accessibility-first** — All themes meet WCAG contrast requirements. Text remains crisp and readable regardless of which palette you choose.
- **Cross-device sync** — Your theme choice syncs to every device. Set it on iPhone, see it on iPad, Mac, and the web — no need to configure twice.
