Browse 150+ AI models with smart filters, sorting, and a guided wizard.

The participant picker lets you search, filter by capability (free, vision, image gen, tools), sort by 9 criteria, and use a 3-step wizard that recommends the best model for your task.

## How it works

1. **Open the participant picker** — Tap the + button in the chat input bar and choose Participants. You'll see a searchable list of every model available through OpenRouter — over 300 in total.
2. **Filter and sort** — Narrow the list with capability filters — Free, Vision, Image Gen, and Tools. Sort by 9 criteria including Recommended, Coding, Research, Speed, Value, and Price.
3. **Use the wizard if you're unsure** — Tap "Help me choose" to start a 3-step guided wizard. Tell it what you need (coding, research, writing) and what matters most (quality, speed, or value), and it'll recommend the top 3 models.
4. **Select up to 3 participants** — Tap to add models or personas as participants. Select up to 3 for multi-model comparison, or just one for a focused conversation. Your selection is saved per chat.

## What you can do

- **Search across models and personas** — Type to search by model name, ID, or provider. Personas appear alongside models so you can mix and match.
- **5 capability filters** — Filter by Free, No Free (exclude free models), Vision (image input), Image Gen (image output), and Tools (function calling support).
- **9 sort criteria** — Sort by Recommended, Coding, Research, Speed, Value, Image Quality, Price, Context length, or Top This Week. On iOS, you can set a primary and secondary sort.
- **"Help me choose" wizard** — A 3-step guided flow: pick your task, choose your priority, and see the top 3 models ranked with scores from independent benchmarks.
- **Capability badges** — Every model shows badges for its capabilities — vision, tools, context window size, and more. Tap the badge help button to learn what each one means.
- **Personas as participants** — Personas appear in the picker alongside bare models. Add a persona and its locked model, system prompt, and personality are applied automatically.
- **Free model discovery** — Use the Free filter to find models that cost nothing to run. Great for experimenting without spending credits.
- **Persisted preferences** — Your filter and sort settings are saved across sessions. The picker remembers how you like to browse so you don't reconfigure it every time.
